Tokyo Physio came highly recommended to me by a colleague. I came after reinjuring both my patella tendons, an injury which took me years to recover from the first time due to inadequate knowledge and care on my part.
At Tokyo Physio, James took the time to understand my history and anxieties, while also pushing me to do what would be best for my recovery based on his expertise and experience. He also consistently sought to empower me to take control over my exercises and recovery. Within 6 weeks I was running, and I am now completely pain free, which was unimaginable to me at the start.
Tokyo Physio is worth every yen spent, to recover emotionally and physically, but also to be educated in a caring and professional manner about my own body and health. I could not be more grateful to have come here!

Tokyo Physio is the absolute best! I started going for a tennis elbow injury several weeks ago and Alan has been incredible! He is so knowledgeable, accommodating, and has helped me immensely just in a couple of sessions. He does a fantastic job of explaining the injury and the source of pain. I have had several injuries, and he is the best Physio I have worked with.
Alongside, my massage with Haruno was outstanding. She worked on my injury, and within a couple of days I was feeling so much pain relief. I cannot recommend Alan for physical therapy and Haruno for sports massage enough! Between the two of them, I’m getting back to my active lifestyle sooner than expected. Will recommend them to anyone in Tokyo.

I’ve been living in Japan for 13 years and I’ve been to Tokyo Physio 4 times. Every time I have come to them with an issue they have fixed the problem. Just amazing. Full English support, but a little on the expensive side (because national health insurance isn’t accepted).

Great bite sized and feasible exercises, tailored to my lower back pain, and adapted to the healing progress of it. Not only demonstrating but going the exercises at the Tokyo Physio Gym myself helped to get more guidance as well. Friendly staff - can really recomment Alan Pang and the Tokyo Physio Team !

We recently had an accident involving a leg/hip fracture while vacationing in Japan, and Tokyo Physio was incredibly helpful with the recovery. Having English speaking therapists was already a big plus, but they also had high quality, professional service while always being friendly and answering any questions that came up. We also got exercises to do at home when necessary and they even had compression socks for the flight home available. Our only regret is that we no longer can use their services back home!

Very disappointed. I was there for only 30 minutes, he gave me two exercises and charged me 17,000 yen. In any clinic they charge an average of 7,000 yen. I do not recommend this place.
