I might have been what you call difficult when I started at central castillo. I was not nice or friendly or open I was hurt and upset and stubborn and a little rude. I was quiet and shy and insecure. I am amazed at how far I have come in the time I have been here. Everyone was so patient with me from the first day I entered. They listened and when things are to hard for me to talk about they let me write how I feel which really helps me. The thing I like best is they care about who I am as a person we don't just go through trauma. I am finding things I like and how I feel about things and I am starting to like who I am. They have always been there for me whenever I have called or text or emailed I have gotten a prompt reply. When things are hard I feel supported and nurtured. I truly feel they care about me and I now care more about myself and who I am and who I can be. I can't thank them enough

Today will be my last session with my therapist Kosta. I honestly think he was the best therapist I ever had. And trust me I have seen many counselors and therapists since I was in middle school. He was always patient, accommodating, professional, empathetic, and caring. I found him at the lowest point in my life and I would not be where I am today if it weren’t for him.

The first time I called a voicemail asked me to leave a message with my information to get a callback, I never received such a call. 2 days later I filled up a form available on the website for the same purpose; the next day a received a phone call. The person asked for my personal and my insurance information, she said it was to verify my benefits. She also asked a painful question, why do you want to see a therapist or something like that, so I explained her some of my concerns; she said it was to assign the best fit possible for my needs. She also said in the next 2 to 3 business days I would receive another phone call to schedule my appointment. 4 weeks later I´m still waiting for that phone call.
Being a psychologist myself I know how hard is to look for help, how sensitive people are when it´s about sharing difficult experiences, worries, or deep feelings. Many people looking for this service are in high distress or at high risk. How a serious place can act in this irresponsible way with this kind of patient? In this profession, trust means everything but this is a place you can´t trust. Totally disrespectful practice.
