We had a great experience shopping at The Original Mattress Factory on 436 in Winter Park. We worked with Gilbert. From the moment we walked in and through delivery, I was very happy. The delivery was done within the three hour window and they gave us a heads up when they were about 10 minutes out.

Their mattresses (spring system) are of a very cheap quality. The company has a great sales pitch based on local assembly and an older type of spring system, me and my wife felt for it. Now, the same spring system they charge a premium for, is specifically excluded from their mattress warranty! And no returns or refunds are accepted at all. You wonder why ..
Last year We purchased two twin orthopedic mattresses for a king frame, one side softer and one side firmer. Within 3 months, both mattresses started to sag and lose back support. We've been flipping them over ever since, but it got only worse. When I spoke with Scott, the store manager he told me that all their products use the same base spring system (not covered by warranty) and that my only solution is to exchange for another mattress and pay their 25% fee. When I objected he hung up on me. Terrible company that doesn't stand behind their cheaply made products.. In a world of full warranties, free returns, no question asked refunds and try me free for 30 days, this company stands out as a dinosaur and a borderline fraud.
Pick your mattress from a more respectable brand that uses quality components and stands by their product with a policy of refunds and full warranty.

It's rare to have a perfect shopping/delivery experience.

Great from beginning to end! The sales staff was helpful but not pushy, and the firmness numbering system made selection fast and easy. I only tried out three mattresses before I found the one that was perfect for me- and at a great price.

The friendly and professional delivery team removed my old mattress for recycling by a local community non-profit, and had the new one in place in less than 10 minutes.

Tami the saleslady was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The mattresses are made right on the premises and are good quality at a good price. You are given a sealed package with a cover so you can lay down and try out the mattresses for comfort. I only made my purchase yesterday and can't wait until they are delivered. I like the fact that the ones I purchased are 2 sided and can be flipped over for better wear.
